‘Bad Boys for Life’ reunites Will Smith and Martin Lawrence

Coming a quarter-century after the original, and 17 from its sequel, “Bad Boys for Life” feels like a double meaning. As is, this update of a brand of sidekick action-comedy Hollywood churned out with regularity route back when is a reasonably shoot-by-numbers affair, beyond the mild kicking of recognizing that the central duo are getting a bit old for this sort of thing.
