Former Vice President Joe Biden has accused his fellow 2020 Democratic nominee Bernie Sanders of liberating a “doctored video” to attack him over Social Security cuts. Sen. Sanders’ campaign has doubled down on its position, accusing Biden of repeatedly calling for Social security systems slice over his career. “Biden not only pushed to cut Social Security — he is on tape proudly boasting about it on multiple occasions, ” Sanders’ campaign director, Faiz Shakir, said. INDIANOLA, Iowa( Reuters) – Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden accused contender Bernie Sanders’s campaign on Saturday of disseminating a “doctored” video edited to falsely appear to show the former vice president supporting slouse Social Security, and called on the Sanders campaign to disown it.
