Australia records hottest day ever – one day after previous record

Average maximum reachings temperature of 41. 9C or 107.4 F on Wednesday- a full degree above previous score organize the day before

Australia recorded its hottest period on record on Wednesday, with an average maximum temperature of 41.9 C( 107.4 F ), beating the previous record by 1C that had been set only 24 hours earlier.

Tuesday 16 December recorded an average rate of 40.9 C throughout the continent, vanquishing the previous record of 40. 3C set on 7 January 2013. But it comprised the record for just 24 hours.
