It& apos; s close at the top, with Huawei clicking at Samsung& apos; s heels it& apos; s never been tougher for the South Korean firm, and the S10 is getting elbowed.

The bigger S1 0 Plus is by far Samsung& apos; s best phone, but the standard S1 0 backs almost all the same top-end features into a more compact form factor and slightly lower price tag( but still steep ).

The S10 also has Samsung& apos; s new Wireless PowerShare, to enable you to wirelessly accuse other machines on the rear of the handset.

Camera: Like the S10 Plus, the trio of cameras on the Galaxy S1 0 are among the best on world markets, is built upon the excellent setup on the S9 series by offering more aspects, hitting modes and overall clarity.

Camera: The Mate 20 Pro comes with three cameras on the rear, nabbing the excellent 40 MP wide-angle and 8MP telephoto lenses from the P20 Pro – but the third sensor is new. It& apos; s an ultra-wide 16 MP snapper allowing you to cram even more of your surrounds into each shot.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is one of the best telephones we& apos; ve ever experimented – and also one of the most expensive.

However, for that fund you& apos; re get an extraordinary spec list, including the first mainstream phone to offer 1TB of storage and an incredible screen.

Screen: Let& apos; s get right to that screen: it& apos; s beautiful. Yes, it& apos; s a bit narrow if you& apos; re coming from the Note 5 or similar, but the space it wraps around the frame, the small bezels and the impressive coloring reproduction and brightness make it a real favourite.

Battery life: With 4,000 mAh under the hood, the Note 9 has one of the biggest batteries Samsung has ever thrust into a machine, signifying it can easily last-place through the working day( plus it has brand-new cool tech to help it last longer in gaming sessions, even though we& apos; ve not insured much proof of that ). You can also charge over wireless readily, and fast accusing boots in 17% battery in 15 mins.

Camera: The cameras on Samsung phones are part of the reason they grade so highly in our roster – the sheer capability and low lighting performance is impressive. Photos are definitely more on the colourful back, but there are more AI smarts in the mingle to help you get the right shot at the right time.

Mini verdict: It& apos; s hard to wrap the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 into a mini finding – it does so much and we& apos; ve not even touched on the new, camera-remote-enabled Bluetooth S Pen. Screen: The 5.8 -inch display lookings fantastic, with excellent colours and Apple& apos; s True Tone technology ensuring it automatically adjusts for very good visuals depending on your current environment.

Battery life: The easiest direction to describe battery life on the XS is: only a touch below average, but considerably better than any other( non-Plus/ Max) iPhone we& apos; ve experimented. Which, in short, means you should get a day from a single charge.

Camera: The shots we created with the iPhone XS were incredibly detailed and packed with colour and sharpness, leaping off the screen with the vibrancy. It may not be the very best camera phone on the market, but these are the best snappers you& apos; ll find on an iPhone.

Mini verdict: The iPhone XS is easily the best iPhone Apple’s ever establish – it’s got the fastest processor, top screen and least bezel out there. However, we& apos; re sad to say, it now comes with a huge caveat. After Google suspended Huawei& apos; s future access to Android Play Store and security updates, there are serious question marks over the future of Huawei phones.

While Google and Huawei have promised to support telephones currently on world markets, it& apos; s not clear how long they& apos; ll receive Android updates or access to the Google Play Store, which would severely abridge their usefulness compared to the competition.

Screen: There& apos; s a whole lot of screen on the OnePlus 7 Pro, with the 6.67 -inch QHD display free of notches, punch-hole cameras and any over-sized bezels. The front of the phone is pretty much all screen and it is so great, with a colorful perforate thanks to the AMOLED panel.

Camera: There& apos; s a triple camera setup round the back of the OnePlus 7 Pro, with Sony& apos; s 48 MP sensor your main snapper, but with telephoto and wide-angle secondary options too. It& apos; s a solid snapper, but it doesn& apos; t quite challenge the likes of Google& apos; s Pixel 3 scope. Nonetheless, there& apos; s something merriment on the front – not that “youre seeing” the front-facing camera. That& apos; s because it& apos; s hidden in the body, and poppings out of the top of the phone when required.

Mini verdict: The OnePlus 7 Pro is closer to delivering everything you want from a flagship phone than any previous OnePlus handset- while still being able to undercut the big-name competition.
