People ‘playing on ice fell through pond’ – reports
West Midlands Fire Service has confirmed that a search and rescue operation is still ongoing at Babbs Mill Lake after reports people ‘playing on the ice fell through’. WMFS said there had been reports and social media videos of people playing on the frozen-over pond and falling through the ice.
