Guy Fieri To Feed Area 51 Raiders With ‘Radioactive Ribs’

With over two million people set to storm Area 51 and liberate the aliens inside, Guy Fieri has bravely stepped up to the plate and volunteered to feed the hungry raiders as they assault the complex.

Fieri made his intention to help the brave Kyles, Rock Throwers and Naruto Runners clear on Twitter when he posted a picture of himself working on a brand new Area 51-themed recipe, ‘Radioactive Ribs’.

The infamous American restaurateur and living Internet meme tweeted: “Workin’ on some new recipes for the folks inside Area 51 The Radioactive Ribs are lookin’ goooooood.”

Here’s hoping the Aliens in Area 51 are ready to head to Flavourtown.

It’s a good thing that Fieri has offered to cook for those planning on raiding Area 51 because they’re going to need to keep their strength up if they’re going to take the base. Especially because the US Air Force doesn’t see the funny side of the joke.

In a statement to The Washington Post, a spokeswoman warned:

Area 51 is an open training range for the US air force, and we would discourage anyone from trying to come into the area where we train American armed forces. The US air force always stands ready to protect America and its assets.

Area 51 and the intense secrecy surrounding it, the Air Force only admitted it existed in 2013, has long been a popular subject of conspiracy theorists who believe that the base contains UFOs, aliens and other advanced technology.

Earlier this month the Facebook event ‘Lets Storm Area 51: They Can’t Stop All Of Us’ was created with the plan supposedly being to ‘meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry. If we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets.’

The event turned out to be stupidly popular and at the time of writing 2.5 million people have said they’re interested in attending the event which is set to take place on September 20.

For the most part, people seem in on the fact it’s a joke and no one is actually going to try and attack the base, but just in case, officials have warned that Area 51 is in a rather inhospitable part of the world.

The aerospace historian who has written extensively about Area 51, Peter Merlin told NBC News that those who actually try and attend the event may find themselves at risk from the desert terrain that surrounds the base.

So why risk going, especially because the whole thing’s going to be live-streamed…
