Let’s Reflect on Prince Harry Thanking His “Pa” For Walking Meghan Markle Down the Aisle

Prince Harry had the ultimate reaction when seeing his bride, Meghan Markle, walk down the aisle toward him in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018. Meghan’s trip to the altar was tearjerking, of course, but it was also a bold feminist statement: after announcing that her father, Thomas Markle, would not be attending the wedding, Meghan decided to walk herself down the aisle, stopping at the Quire to be brought over to Harry by “his fathers”, Prince Charles. She made history as the first royal bride who didn’t have an escort.
