Chilean Sires Passion For Gold, Dosificado Move To Milky Way Farm In California

Two stallions have arrived from Chile to join the stallion listing at Milky Way Farm in Temecula, Calif ., for 2019.

Passion for Gold( Medaglia d’Oro x C’Est L’Amour) is one of five working champions sired by Medaglia d’Oro including Songbird, Rachel Alexandra and Vancouver.

He was champion and highweighted 2-year-old in France and won the Group 1 Criterium Saint Cloud by 6 1/ 2 lengths. He likewise won the Tapster Stakes in England while racing for Godophin.

Passion for Gold has been standing in Chile, and his first crop to race consisted of 31 starters and 28 wins, including La Zurda de Oro, who placed in the Peruvian G3 Clasico Augusto Montajo Barrera.

Passion for Gold will stand for $3,500 LFG.

Dosificado( Scat Daddy x Daja) won the Chilean G3 Premio Alvaro Covarrubias during an undefeated 2-year-old season. His complete race record included 12 starts, seven wins, three seconds, and two thirds.

He is out of the Chilean Broodmare of the Year, Daja. His full sister Dacita, a champ 2- and 3-year-old in Chile, was imported to the U.S ., and won the G1 Beverly D. Dosificado is also a full brother to Dalala, who is a multiple G1-placed runner in Chile, and he is a half-brother to Lady Estefania, a champion 2-year-old in Peru.
