ABC fall 2018 premiere dates: ‘The Conners’ and ‘The Alec Baldwin Show’ debut late

ABC has officially unveiled its Fall 2018 TV schedule, and like many of the other networks this year, will be taking a staggered approach to its premieres.

The network will kick-off its new season Monday, Sept. 24 with a “Dancing with the Stars” and “The Good Doctor” pairing. New series “Single Parents” and “A Million Little Things” will make their debut a few nights later, closing out the network’s new Wednesday night lineup, following the returns of “The Goldbergs,” “American Housewife,” and “Modern Family.”

ABC’s other veteran dramas will all be making their returns the first week of the season, including “How to Get Away with Murder” and “Grey’s Anatomy,” the latter of which will be debuting its new season with yet another 2-hour premiere.

Most notably, though, the network’s much-anticipated “Roseanne” spin-off, “The Conners,” will be premiering late into the new season, with a mid-October start date. It’ll make its debut on Oct. 16, rounding out the network’s new Tuesday night lineup, airing at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The new Nathan Fillion-led series, “The Rookie,” will also be making its premiere that night at 10 p.m., with a “Splitting Up Together” lead-in.

“The Alec Baldwin Show” will be getting a late start into the new season as well, premiering the Sunday night before “The Rookie and “The Conners.”
