The Razr comes with a measly 2,510 mAh battery, which Moto claims works well with the phone’s Snapdragon 710 SoC.<\/p>\n However, the Galaxy Z Flip’s more premium processor could drain its 3,300 mAh battery pretty quickly. It’s even smaller than the 3,500 mAh battery on 2018′ s Galaxy S9 Plus<\/a>, which was not very impressive to begin with. In our testing, the S9 Plus’ battery gave us simply three hours of screen-on time during our camera testing and six hours with heavy usage.<\/p>\n It’s possible Samsung had to compromise on the battery capability of the Galaxy Z Flip in order to maintain a thin shape factor.<\/p>\n To mitigate battery drain, Samsung could look at deploying the Galaxy Fold<\/a>‘s Adaptive Power Saving Mode on the new telephone. Two previous reports<\/a> have stated the same. However, that extra layer of plastic on top of the ultra-thin glass is new information to us.<\/p>\n Ultra-thin glass protection is good news since it’s more scraping resistant than plastic. It likewise reportedly outcomes in less wrinkles in comparison with the first wave of foldable phone displays.<\/p>\n Weinbach claims the plastic stratum on top will serve as additional protection for the display.
