Huawei’s original EMUI 10 roadmap<\/a> recommended Mate 20 Pro<\/a> proprietors would have to wait until December to enjoy the pleasures of Android 10, but it seems the Chinese giant is seeding the OTA much more rapidly than expected.<\/p>\n

News of the rollout comes from DroidApp<\/a> which has received word from Mate 20 Pro users in the Netherlands who have received the 10.0.0.136 update. The update itself weighs in at a meaty 4.4 GB.<\/p>\n

In addition to a cluster of Android 10 aspects<\/a>, EMUI 10 also adds Huawei’s own tweaks on its custom scalp<\/a> including a raft of visual changes and a long overdue revamp for the Huawei camera app. We considered all these upgrades recently made the Huawei P3 0 Pro after debuting on the Mate 30 Pro, albeit without Google services on the latter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There’s no word on wider availability of updated information for the Mate 20 Pro or other Mate 20 devices, though it seems likely other European fields will follow in the coming periods and weeks.<\/p>\n

Huawei sub-brand Honor<\/a> is expected to follow with Android 10 updates for the Honor 20<\/a> series soon, though those devices will be running Magic UI instead.<\/p>\n
