Queen Elizabeth II<\/a> is pleasing her kingdom a very merry Christmas<\/a> — and lending the importance of ensuring that respect and kindness.<\/p>\n

Though her annual Christmas address<\/a> doesn’t air until Dec. 25, a preview released by the palace tantalizes the 92 -year-old Queen’s touching speech from Buckingham Palace<\/a>‘s majestic White Drawing Room<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Wearing an tusk silk cocktail dress by Angela Kelly, the longest-reigning<\/a> British monarch notes that “through the many changes I have determined over the years, faith<\/a>, family<\/a> and friendship<\/a> have been not only a constant for me but information sources of personal convenience and reassurance.”<\/p>\n

The Queen also emphasized the effects of kindness in her address. “Even with the most deeply held differences, treating the other person as regards the topic and as a fellow human being is always a good first step towards greater understanding, ” she proclaimed.<\/p>\n

She gestured to Jesus’ teachings to illustrate her hope for the future. “I believe his content of peace on earth and goodwill to all is never out of date, ” the Queen commented. “It can be heeded by everyone; it’s requirement as far as is ever.”<\/p>\n

Her speech, produced by Sky News, includes sweet tokens of their own families she praises. On a table within view of the camera, a black-and-white video from 1948 shows the Queen when she was still a princess with her husband Prince Philip<\/a> and their newborn son Prince Charles<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Plus, the Queen wears the Scarab pin<\/a> that her husband afforded her in 1966. Andrew Grima’s sparkling design includes yellowish gold and engraved ruby with diamonds.<\/p>\n

The Queen’s family has get bigger since last Christmas: Her grandson Prince William<\/a> welcomed<\/a> son Prince Louis<\/a> with spouse Kate Middleton<\/a> in April, and her granddaughter Zara Tindall<\/a> gave birth<\/a> to daughter Lena Elizabeth<\/a> with spouse Mike Tindall<\/a> in June.<\/p>\n

Her grandson Prince Harry<\/a> tied the knot<\/a> with Meghan Markle<\/a>( who is expecting a babe<\/a> in the spring) in May, and her granddaughter Princess Eugenie<\/a> wed<\/a> Jack Brooksbank<\/a> in October.<\/p>\n

Queen Elizabeth<\/a>‘s father King George VI<\/a> started the Christmas address tradition<\/a> in 1932 over the radio. She delivered her firstly Christmas address via radio in 1952 and via television in 1957. <\/p>\n

The Queen has had a busy Christmas season so far. On Wednesday, she hosted a Christmas lunch<\/a> for the royal family<\/a> at Buckingham Palace, and on Thursday, she left London for Sandringham House<\/a> in Norfolk by train. On Sunday, she geared up for the vacation by attending St. Mary Magdalene’s church service<\/a> on the Sandringham estate with family members.<\/p>\n

Harry and Meghan will stay with her at Sandringham House<\/a> on Christmas. William, Kate and their kids will stay at their nearby Anmer Hall home.<\/p>\n
