The 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed is over, but videos from the event continue to surface. One of them depicts the impressive Brabham BT62<\/a> in action on the hill climb.\n<\/p>\n Brabham’s first production vehicle demonstrated its racing pedigree<\/a> in front of the spectators, dressed in the same livery as the F1 racer driven by Niki Lauda 40 years ago, with which he won the Swedish Grand Prix on June 17.<\/p>\n But as Brabham announced<\/a> at the beginning of June, all units of the BT62 will wear different clothes. Some of them will be reminiscent of different victories in Formula 1, while others will be customized with individual patterns, thus standing out even more whenever they will hit the track.<\/p>\n Also Read: Brabham Wants To Race And Win Le Mans<\/a><\/p>\n And the track will be the only place where enthusiasts will be able to catch a glimpse of the Brabham BT62<\/a>, as the supercar isn\u2019t road legal.<\/p>\n With a \u00a31 million ($1,32 million) starting price<\/a>, the Brabham BT62 weighs just 972kg (2,142lbs) dry. Its mid-mounted naturally aspirated 5.4-liter V8 engine is good for 710PS (700hp \/ 522kW) and 666Nm (492lb-ft) of torque, channeled to the rear axle via a six-speed sequential racing transmission.<\/p>\n Brabham hasn\u2019t disclosed the 0-100km\/h (0-62mph) or the top speed of the BT62, but the track-only toy has already shattered the lap record at Philip Island<\/a>, during high-speed testing, with the brand’s Managing Director and multiple Le Mans winner, David Brabham, sitting in the driver’s seat.<\/p>\n Deliveries of the first units<\/a> are expected later in 2018, so stay tuned for more exciting footage.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
