As <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2018\/06\/01\/fortnite-is-headed-to-the-nintendo-switch-according-to-new-leaks\/\">previously rumored<\/a>, wildly popular sandbox survival game <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2018\/06\/01\/fortnite-is-headed-to-the-nintendo-switch-according-to-new-leaks\/\">Fortnite<\/a> is, indeed, coming to <a class=\"crunchbase-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.crunchbase.com\/organization\/nintendo\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"organization\" data-entity=\"nintendo\">Nintendo <\/a> Switch. Not only that, it\u2019s\u00a0 available starting today as a free download from the Nintendo eShop.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Epic\u2019s title will be available at 10AM PT today (a little under an hour from now), bringing the battle royale mode that has made it such a massive money maker on the PC, consoles and iOS, which arrived in March. An Android version of the title is also in the works for later this summer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><iframe class='youtube-player' type='text\/html' width='640' height='390' src='https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Dk56OpKuFts?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;autohide=2&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;wmode=transparent' allowfullscreen='true' style='border:0;'><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The game is a perfect fit for console.
