Sandra Bullock Asked To Be Fired From A Movie To Avoid A Sexual Harasser!

It seems the more we hear their stories, the more it turns out every actress has faced some sort of sexual harassment on set.

(And sadly probably every woman in every career.)

Even America’s sweetheart Sandra Bullock had to deal with some inappropriate behavior early in her career.

The Ocean’s 8 star revealed a situation she had to face on one of her first films to the Sunday Times this week:

“Very early on in my career I had a situation on a film, which was hard. It came from a person of authority. I kept deflecting it with humor and it didn’t work. Finally, I said, ‘Please just fire me.'”

Hmm. But which movie? And which jerk harassed her??

One thing we know is it wasn’t Harvey Weinstein. In the same interview, Sandy speaks about the disgraced movie mogul and what she heard about him from around town — and why she was “afraid of him.”

She recalls:

“I heard about Harvey and I was afraid of him. I wasn’t asked to be in that world. I learned early on to shut things off so those things didn’t come my way.”

Unfortunately, she wasn’t in the know earlier on about what a monster he really was:

“I only heard what Harvey wanted people to hear, and that made me so fucking angry. People would say, ‘Well, you know how she got that role? She fucked Harvey.’ I would say, ‘Shut the fuck up. You don’t know that.’ Then, later, to find out that woman was brutally attacked… They didn’t sleep with Harvey. Harvey wanted you to think that.”

And that’s part of how he got away with it so long.

He sowed disinformation so not even Hollywood’s most powerful stars knew exactly what was happening. Disgusting.
